Honest AI Shield is a Chrome browser extension that sits between you and AI chatbots. It currently works with ChatGPT and Claude, with support for more AI providers coming soon. It watches what you type and what the AI responds with, and warns you before sensitive information gets shared.

Think of it as a security guard for your AI conversations. It can:

• Catch sensitive data like credit card numbers, email addresses, and government IDs before you accidentally send them to an AI
• Automatically redact (replace with placeholders) any detected sensitive information
• Block file uploads and screenshot sharing to AI chatbots
• Scan AI responses for harmful or unwanted content
• Monitor for custom keywords you define
